Preface

The Society of 21st century gives corporations the subject how we should convert our society from mass production and mass consumption society to Circulation Society in which limited resources are efficiently utilized.

We, KITASHIBA ELECTRIC CO.,LTD., define it as our basic policy that “we will harmonize with the nature and actively contribute to establish affluent and sound social environment based on the recognition that handing over this Irreplaceable Global Environment to the next generation in a sound status is our essential responsibility as a member of the society”, place the preservation of global environment through the development and manufacture of energy saving products and environmental recycling products as one of the most important managerial subjects, and are struggling with continual environmental improvement and prevention of pollution with full participation of employees.

From this viewpoint, we define the promotion of Green Procurement as an important mission in our procurement activity and hope to promote it with suppliers in accordance with the Guidelines from now on.
